This day-long course will provide various educational experiences for people to learn more about what it means to be Transgender and/or *Gender Expansive, including ways agencies and individuals can be more inclusive in their day-to-day work by exploring language usage, terminology, and best practices when working with Transgender and/or Gender Expansive individuals, especially in behavioral and mental health settings.
*Gender Expansive is an inclusive term that may describe various gender identities, as well as identities in flux.
