Examines the complex relationship and provides a framework for a collaborative and integrated approach to screening, assessment, treatment and recovery from these co-occurring conditions. This course will also address attitudes, beliefs, and emotional reactions of service providers, the perspectives of consumers with depression and substance use concerns, and a collaborative approach to screening, assessment and management of suicidal risk.
