This one-day training will provide a review of best practices in interview, assessment, diagnosis, and approaches to treatment, psychosocial as well as medical, in the co-occurring substance abuse and mental health population. In addition, the presenters will discuss topics of stigma and bias in general in the healthcare delivery system and their impact on indiviuals with co-occurring disorders.
