Overview & Skill-Building in Delivery of DBT | Supported by AdCare

Event Details

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment is a cognitive-behavioral approach that was designed to treat borderline personality disorder. It has been adapted to fit a number of other populations where emotional and behavioral regulation is the focus. This workshop will provide an overview of dialectical behavior therapy as well as information regarding several specific DBT skills. This workshop will be helpful for practitioners who would like to become familiar with DBT or who would like to improve their ability to interweave some DBT concepts into their practice with clients.
