The ASAM Criteria are the most widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for assessment, service planning, placement, continued stay and discharge of patients with addictive disorders. A new edition was released in October 2013. This presentation will inform participants of what is new since the last edition ASAM PPC-2R, 2001.
