Ethical Quandaries in Drug Treatment Courts: How to Manage the Potential Competing Ethical Obligations as the Defense Attorney, Prosecutor and Judge

 

Drug treatment courts reshape the professional roles of the judges and lawyers who work in them. This two-hour program, offered in three locations, will explore the complex ethical issue of how to balance the proper exercise of the differing roles of the lawyers practicing in the drug treatment court while at the same time coordiating their efforts in order to help the defendant/participant achieve recovery from his or her addictions.
