Problem Gambling Services Coordinator
AdCare Educational Institute of Maine, Inc. is seeking to hire a dynamic, self-starter, and experienced program coordinator to fill its Problem Gambling Services Coordinator position. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of AdCare's problem gambling services. This includes coordinating problem gambling prevention education sessions, coordinating Maine's gambling addiction treatment network, and developing recovery tools and supports. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating Maine's annual problem gambling awareness conference along with other in-person trainings and webinars on multiple topics related to problem gambling and responsible gaming.
This position requires knowledge of behavioral health systems and care across the continuum of services.
Other required skills include communications, group facilitation, strategic planning, research, oral presentations, research, event planning, and oversight of subcontractors.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in fields of behavioral health, public health, or related fields. Strong preference will be given to candidates with 3 to 5 years experience in behavioral health programming coordination.

Workforce Development Project Coordinator
AdCare Educational Institute of Maine, Inc. is seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced program coordinator to fill its Workforce Development Project Coordinator position focused on prevention training and technical assistance. This position is responsible for coordinating trainings for the prevention workforce including Maine's annual prevention conference and trainings focused on Maine's opiate crisis.
This position is also responsible for providing technical assistance to state-funded sites implementing the Student Intervention and Reintegration Program and Universal Prime For Life program. Additionally, this position will provide administrative support to the Maine Prevention Certification Board. If you have a passion for prevention, AdCare Maine wants you on the team!
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with strong preference for education in the fields of public health, addiction and/or behavioral health. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years experience in prevention, public health, or behavioral health programming coordination. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Provisional Prevention Specialist or Certified Prevention Specialist Certification.
This position requires knowledge in the areas of education, prevention, and behavioral health. Necessary skills include training and event planning and management, group facilitation, communications, data collection and database management, and webinar facilitation. The position requires ability to work independently, problem solve, and provide good client and customer support.
