AdCare is extending its suspension of in-person trainings through the end of August

AdCare Educational Institute of Maine, Inc., continues to monitor the evolving developments related to COVID-19. AdCare Maine continues to meet internally to create contingency plans of operations that will protect the health and safety of our training participants, and our staff, while also allowing programming to continue to go forward to meet the educational and training needs of Maine's behavioral health fields. To inform our decision-making process, we are following data and guidance from the U.S. and Maine Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and other top public health agencies and experts. Additionally, we are following the guidance and orders coming from the Maine CDC and Governor Janet Mills. The health and safety of our trainers, participants, and staff is our top priority.

To this end AdCare is extending its suspension of in-person trainings through the end of August*. In-person trainings that were scheduled for June are either being re-scheduled to a later date, or transitioned into an online, webinar format. Future trainings developed in July and August will be held in virtual formats. Read the full letter from the Director.
